Note:

Candidates wishing to contest for vacant Kenya Library Association (KLA) Executive Committee elective positions during the November 2024 Annual General Meeting shall complete Part I of the form and get Part II filled by nominator and seconded. Kindly refer to page two for Guidelines for

  • Chairman
  • Vice Chairman
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Editor
  • Registrar
Important Notes
  • Applicants for any position MUST be information science professionals.
  • All applicants must submit:
    • An up-to-date Curriculum Vitae highlighting their achievements in their workplaces.
    • Their theme and intended objectives for the Kenya Library Association (KLA) if elected.
  • Applicants MUST have been consistent members of the Association for the past three years without a break. Membership records will be verified from the Association’s office.
Nominations
  • Opening Date: 28th October 2024
  • Closing Date: 19th November 2024, by 5:00 PM.
  • Nominations submitted outside the stated time frame will not be accepted.
Notification
  • After submission, an independent shortlisting committee will review applications based on the criteria outlined in Section 2 (Important Notes).
  • Applicants will be notified whether they have met the requirements.
  • Deadline for Submission: The completed form must reach the designated email by 19th November 2024.
