Appreciate Kenya’s coastal natural and cultural heritage...

As part of the conference, the Organizing Committee has identified the following as events that conference attendees can participate in to appreciate Kenya’s coastal natural and cultural heritage. The costs indicated cater for transport, lunch and entrance fees.
This will start from your hotel at 9.00am and will include a visit to Fort Jesus Historical Museum, Old Dhow Harbor, the temples, Elephant Tusks Monuments, the Lighthouse at Mama Ngina followed by a Swahili or Italian lunch and then Haller Park.

You will be picked up from the hotel early morning and head to Tsavo West national park. The drive is amazing with a professional tour guide who will assist you to spot and identify the animals. Lunch will be served at Ashnil Aruba in the park. The drive back to Mombasa is nothing but scenic and simply enjoyable.

This trip takes you to Wasini Island to see dolphins as you sail through the Kisite Marine Park on an authentic dhow cruise. After snorkeling, for lunch, you will savor tasty seafood on the island then take a nature walk in the mangrove coral garden on your way back to get to the hotel back by 5.00pm.

You will be picked from the hotel and head over to Watamu for the Mida Creek excursion, then head over to Gede Ruins to experience the history of the place with an optional Snake Park tour and the Butterfly Park where you can get see butterflies if in season. A stop at Mambrui sand dunes will give you a Kenyan desert experience and afterwards lunch and a drive back to Mombasa

This is a break from the City for an exciting game drive. Begin a game drive by visiting Sheldrick Waterfalls then proceed for game viewing. The drive back is through Shimba Hills Green Lodge for lunch as you leave the park.

This is a visit to Mombasa old town, Fort Jesus and Pembe za Ndovu. It includes a visit to the Marine Park where you will participate in snorkeling, fish feeding and swimming.
